ORIN Technologies utilizes a number of oxidation and reduction reactions to achieve destruction of recalcitrant organic compounds, with the AOTech process being the primary process used in water treatment. We are able to oxidize recalcitrant organics found in many manufacturing process water streams. Utilizing advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) to treat these compounds allows these contaminants to be fully oxidized or render them less toxic by breaking them into smaller, biologically degradable compounds. This includes oxidizing insoluble COD ahead of biological treatment systems in order to enhance overall COD reduction in facility effluent.
Based upon the target contaminant, ORIN will recommend any number of advanced oxidation processes to achieve a desired endpoint. The AOTech process allows ORIN to deliver a simple AOP with a minimum footprint, capital expenditure, or long-term O&M costs. If desired, ORIN can provide flow paced feed systems with remote inventory management to reduce the need for operator input.
